Global fashion retailer GOAT has partnered with actor and producer Michael B. Jordan to raffle off some exclusive sneakers inspired by his favorite movies. All the proceeds of the raffles will benefit GirlTrek, a public health nonprofit organization for African-American women and girls in the United States. In partnership with many other organizations, GirlTrek’s mission is to inspire one million African-American women and girls to develop a daily habit of walking.
The GOAT raffle features sneakers from five classic movies – Coming to America, Casino, The Last Dragon, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and The Sandlot. Each shoe uniquely captures the essence of each movie, and there are iconic scenes in each film that are displayed throughout the design of each sneaker. Whether it is Hakeem and Semmi decked out in New York City’s finest tourist fashions in Coming to America, or Sam Rothstein in his pink suit in Casino, each shoe is perfectly crafted to capture these moments.
