New Kids on the Block

Block heels. As a long-time stiletto lover, it took me a while to get used to this new trend. I am used to balancing on the tiny stiletto heel, carefully maneuvering my steps so that my heels don’t get damaged by the cracks in the sidewalks, and purposely avoiding all grates. Now that block heels are back in style, I don’t have to be as careful. Since I usually have a toddler on my hip anyway, block heels make my treks a little easier.
